Cause 2: Pericoronitis
Pericoronitis is the inflammation of the gums above and around the tooth due to the overlying gum flap that causes chronic inflammation. This will result in a throbbing recurrent pain that will only resolve with the removal of the wisdom tooth.
Cause 1: Decay
